Surrey's Secret Spa

Are you looking for a spa day, to unwind, relax and destress? Don't worry, I've got you sorted friend. We DON'T gate keep around here, let me put all of you on because we all love to be bougie on a budget.

One of my favorite forms of self-care is a trip to the spa or a quick weekend getaway. I discovered Brookland Spa Hotel through my mum and aunt; they came across this spa deal on Groupon, which is both luxury and affordable. You can get a 1 night for two in a deluxe room, a glass of prosecco with a 3-course dinner, and a breakfast buffet the next morning all for £165. Yeah, that's right, I said all of that for only £165, or you can upgrade for spa access and treatment for £215-£235.

I have purchase this Groupon voucher several times to indulge in a quick spa retreat because life be life'in sometimes, and it's nice to get away from the noise. When I first purchase the Groupon voucher, it was originally £159, that since has increased to £165 as of recently. The Brookland Hotel also has great deals you can find directly from their website; I've tried the Sunday spa stopover deal, it was such a steal. You get a night's stay in a standard double deluxe room, again a 3-course meal and includes one night's stay for two, one treatment each, full use of the spa for up to 3 hours, and breakfast the following morning starting from £107.50. You can upgrade your room, but I'll be real, the deluxe room is equally as nice, plus the beds are so comfy. I need to find out where they buy their mattresses from. Brookland, if you're reading this, drop the details, please and thanks. Also, most rooms have walk-in rain showers, and it's giving luxury.

All spa guests get 3 hours of access to the wellness rooms, including the sunlight therapy room, sauna, hot tub, and meditation with gently heated waterbeds. Since my last trip there, they have renovated their spa facilities and added a Malayan Salt Room and expanded and upgraded the sauna room, so I'll definitely be checking this out.

So because your girl's bougie and lives for the finer things in life, I had to try out the ultimate Brookland experience because enjoyment is here to be had. The Girls Night In package is where it's at if you're feeling extra and feel like spending a little more for only £154.50 per person, when booking directly with Brookland Hotel. The room is INSANE; you get the best view overlooking the Mercedes-Benz World track. You get two rooms with king-sized beds connected by a separate large living space with a dining table, sofa, and a selection of films for a movie night. The terrace is so big and decked out with outdoor furniture to hang out and watch the cars racing on the track.

We were welcomed with glasses of prosecco and chocolate-covered strawberries for all six of us. But I love inside the room; there is so much space, a mirror and chair to do hair and makeup, an office desk and chair if you're feeling to get some work done, there was plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable.

You thought I was finished? The fun doesn't stop there; you also get waffle bathrobe towels and slippers and a trip to the spa. You get to pick your 25-minute treatment, use the facilities, and then have breakfast the next morning, all for one price. We ordered some room service for a few bits to snack on, but we ordered take-out from Gourmet Burger Kitchen and had a little feast before watching a movie.

You can also book your spa access and treatments on Groupon and get great deals which include spa and afternoon tea, lunch, or dinner. I personally prefer the afternoon tea and spa to the lunch. The food can be hit and miss, but breakfast never disappoints. Click here to see my review of Brookland's Restaurant 1907 from my food blog column.

I mean, what is there not to love? This is such a nice place to enjoy for a solo trip, with a friend, partner, or group. You do get that fancy feeling when you walk in for the first time and check-in. I would highly recommend this place and suggest that if you have a deluxe room, upgrade to a track-facing room for the view for £30 at reception. It used to cost £20, but I guess times are tough for everyone. The staff are super friendly, and the ladies in the spa are really nice too! It's a perfect gift to give your loved ones or enjoy with company. There is something for everyone, whether you're enjoying some food, relaxing in the spa, or driving like fast and the furious at Mercedes Benz World, you can find it here.
