If you're down in Wandsworth, you should grab some food for a breakfast date at Konnigians for a nice munch.
My friend and I both ordered a country breakfast, with eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, mushrooms, baked beans, grilled tomato & buttered toast for £11.95. We preferred hash browns over mushrooms, so we swapped them out. Our food arrived quickly after placing our orders with the kitchen, but considering we got there early I wouldn't expect it to take long. Check out my mini vlog here on Instagram of my breakfast date at Konnigians.
I also added some extra avocado on the side because we LOVE it over here. I really enjoyed the freshly squeezed orange juice which cost around £3; it was super refreshing and zesty, which complemented the food. I felt the size of the drink was generous and good value for money, it's really annoying when you order a drink and its literally gone in the first three sips because the majority of the glass is filled with ice.
We were seated at a nice table with mirrors and light decor, which made the aesthetic inside feel quite cute and cozy. There was more seating towards the back of the restaurant for larger groups. Overall, the place had a good vibe, and I feel like the price was reasonable for the portion size. I would advise budgeting £15- £20 for a comfortable spend. They also have a cocktail and lunch menu, so check them out if you want a chilled day out.
Konnigians is located on Old York Road, SW18 1SS, and is under a 1-2 minute walk to Wandsworth Town rail station. There are also many bus transport services near the restaurant. It's a family-friendly environment and perfect for couples and friends, for breakfast, lunch or a late night bite.
